I can't really test this until I move either to Synapse or Tuwunel, but when I do, checking whether any changes are required here for using sliding sync.

The SDK and Ruma do support the feature.

i think i actually forgot iirc element web says its experimental and scawy and cant be disabled but ill have to check again
